Our outpost is located 30 air
miles south of Kenora, Ontario, on beatuiful Lake of the Woods. It is an
8-acre island with your own private sand beach. The Northwest Angle
Islands provide some of the finest fishing in the area. We are accessible by boat or fly-in.
Boating / Fishing
We have a variety
of fish such as Northern, Walleye, Muskellunge, Crappie, Perch and the
trophy size Bass that tournament anglers long to weigh in, all within a
2-mile radius. Great weeded bays, rocky shorelines, and underwater reefs
for all types of anglers to enjoy. Get in the boat and enjoy the sun and
blue waters of Lake of the Woods.
Waterfowl / Game
Hunting
Sabaskosing Bay provides excellent duck/goose hunting as they travel the
direct flyway south from Manitoba. Decoys are available. We are located
next to the Aulneau Peninsula and will provide accommodations for the
muzzle loader/crossbow hunters as well as the regular season moose/deer
hunters. We accept a maximum of 10 people per party. Call us for details.
Ice Fishing / Snowmobiling
Kenora and the surrounding area are renowned for beautiful winter scenery.
We provide a winter getaway that will take you ice fishing or just relax
and nestle up by the cozy fireplace. The groomed CAN/AM International
Snowmobile Trails are close by for your enjoyment.
